Come to a workshop led and directed by two psychotherapist Donna Sorgen and Tammy Nelson. Drawing on decades of experience, this workshop will help you and your partner experience a deeper, more connected vision of intimacy.

• $4,900 PER COUPLE (friendly or romantic couples) - Includes all food, snacks, beverages, four-day workshop, and most retreat activities. (lodging is priced separately based on selections)

• $500 deposit required to hold your space in the retreat, non-refundable after Aug 15. To pay in installments with a credit card on file, please ask for details. (Total amount due before Sept 1, 2025)

• Each room is an additional cost of $250, $300 or $400 per night. It is recommended you stay at the housing provided.

• Medical Intake and Prescription paid separately to medical provider

Congratulations on pursuing something that almost all couples need and many want, but few dare to complete. Dealing with issues in your relationship doesn’t have to mean complicated communication breakdowns or conflicts that end in arguments.  It’s time for an intimacy intervention. This couple's retreat can remind you why you chose each other. It can increase the love and passion you have for each other.

Using the Integrative Relationship Therapy method developed by Dr Tammy Nelson, you will use enhanced listening, intimate and empathic dialogue, sexuality counseling techniques, and other interventions designed to dramatically shift your relationship.

The relationship retreat is an intensive time away from your daily life to help you through a crisis or resolve the day-to-day problems in your partnership. You will focus on the unique issues in your relationship to create new pathways to communication and leave with skills to follow up at home.

NOTE: All sharing in this workshop is optional, there is no nudity or sexual contact between participants in the workshop. This workshop is a safe space run by a trained and licensed psychotherapist and certified sex therapist with over 30 years of experience.

Where is the retreat?  

We will be staying in beautiful, shared Field Trip houses in the Joshua Tree desert, only miles from the Joshua Tree National Park, surrounded by acres of protected land with hiking trails within walking distance. In each house, there is a patio, hot tub, pool and plenty of room for privacy.  

Pricing:

$4,900 PER COUPLE includes all food, snacks, beverages,  four day workshop, and retreat activities

Housing and medical intake not included. 

Housing costs: - $200 to $400 per night (see below)

Medical Intake and Prescription paid separately to medical provider

What is the price for rooms?

What is included? 

The $4900 per couple includes the Ketamine Assisted Art of Intimacy Couples therapy retreat four day/three night workshop with clinical relationship interventions with Tammy Nelson, Donna Sorgen, and Eva Altobelli, Samantha Lau and others.

All your meals included in the price.

The cost also includes pre retreat phone calls with Tammy and Donna to set intentions, and discuss your journey as well as a follow up integration session after the retreat.

How do I get there? 

 If you are flying in, the Ontario airport is about two hours from Joshua Tree by car or from Los Angeles Airport (LAX) it is a two-hour drive (but can be longer with traffic), and the smaller airport in Palm Springs is about 45 minutes from the retreat house.  Rental cars are available at both locations. For ride sharing among retreat attendees, a list can be provided to all attendees who wish to connect with each other for potential rides from airports.

Does a deposit to hold my space? 

Yes, upon purchasing a $500 deposit you are guaranteed a spot  - nonrefundable after August 15th.

When is the balance due? 

The remainder is due in full by September 1st. We can also work out a payment plan to spread out payments due. Ask for details.

Optional:

Again, Ketamine is optional. Before the retreat, you will be evaluated for appropriateness and given information on dosing and form of transmission. 

Your medical screening for Ketamine must be done before the retreat with the medical provider and is an ADDITIONAL FEE. We will set you up with the appointment during your informational Zoom session.

There will be a medical provider on site at the retreat. More information is available if you have questions.
