Are you lying about your orgasm? Here’s what you need to know.

Do you think you should be having vaginal orgasms? There’s nothing wrong with you if you don’t.

The vaginal orgasm is an illusion. Ninety nine percent of women need clitoral stimulation in order to achieve an orgasm. The reality is if you are having an orgasm by pure vaginal intercourse, you are getting clitoral stimulation – through your clitoral roots or “crucia,” which are the ‘legs’ of the clitoris. These roots reach down and under the surface around the opening of the vagina. These crucia are engorged when you are turned on and for some women they are close to the surface, giving you extra stimulation during intercourse

For some lucky women, if your clitoris is close to your vagina, then certain positions during intercourse will pull and tug and put pressure on the clitoris and help with stimulation. For others, who are still lucky, who have a clitoris that is anatomically further away from the vagina, helping stimulate the clit with a hand during intercourse, with a vibrator, or by rubbing against your partner or the bed, indirect clitoral stimulation will lead to a climax.
