With all the talk of infidelity and inability to commit, it’s reassuring to see research from an evolutionary psychologist showing that men do want to commit to long-term, loving relationships. Andrew P. Smiler has found that young men and women are not all that different in their desires and behaviors. His new book Challenging Casanova: Beyond the Stereotype of the Promiscuous Young Male sounds like a great read and definitely challenges the societal beliefs that all men sleep around.
