Billed as an “exploratory docu-series,” “Polyamory: Married and Dating” premiers on Showtime on July 12th at 11 p.m. Eastern Time. Couples who practice polyamory believe they can have more than one committed, long-term sexual relationship at the same time. Polyamory does not involve multiple spouses. The program highlights several couples, some with children, and their partners, some shared and some not. Showtime says this view into polyamory “…follows characters grappling with the emotional and sexual drama of sharing their hearts, as well as their beds.” Episodes in the seven-episode series will be repeated several times each week.
