A new study has revealed that the 20-29 year olds of America are the most stressed generation – thanks to rising education costs and dropping employment rates. What are the implications of this kind of stress? Stress is associated with a myriad of health concerns, does this mean that the millennials face greater health concerns on top of continued levels of stress? It could be a bleak outlook for the future unless we find new ways to deal with education, the economy or maybe new ways to deal with stress. My personal feeling is perhaps this generation will become more resilient than the ones before it. Could that be a survival skill that could save us all in the future? This article paints a bleaker potential, but could hold the keys to change.
